BIO

Noël is an Amsterdam-based singer switching between jazz music and electronic music. Her light, expressive vocals stand in bold contrast with strong productions. She delivers catchy, easy-listening tracks with relatable lyrics and a feminine raw edge. Powerful songs made for both listening and dancing.

Noël van de Wiel (1994) started singing because of her musical father. At the age of eleven, she was in the final of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in the Netherlands. She took lessons at the Junior Jazz College, a young talent course at the Conservatory of Amsterdam and later studied jazz/pop vocals at the Conservatory of Utrecht. With her focus on jazz and improvisation, she built up years of experience as a jazz singer.

But Noël also loves a good party and was inspired by DJ Tiësto. She began writing her own music couldn’t wait to see people dancing to her songs. Noël collaborated with other artists such as Lomalo and Rowen Reecks, leading to the release of her EP Orchid, which firmly established her in the world of house music. Her second single, Home, received high praise from the press. Noël now frequently collaborates with DJ Ian Storm.

Noël recorded the latest set of jingles for the popular radio show Arbeidsvitaminen on NPO Radio 5. She is also still active as a live jazz singer, as a vocal coach and as a topliner in the electronic music scene.
